Can you say what you are doing is right? Is anyone whom you know is doing always right deeds or speaks right? Can someone say that what he/she thinks is always right? Even in your thoughts, you can't be always right. Right? What an irony, isn't it?
Who decides what's right? It can be the law or rules laid by the Government. It could be the people in a society. It could be the different religions. It could be your loved ones, you friends or your foe.
We read newspapers and hear many crimes happening in the world. We hear sometimes a son killed his father. We often arrive at a conclusion that how cruel is the son. But, do ever think what could be his state of mind that led him to do such a heinous act? When we get to know the story behind the crime, we might come to know perhaps the truth. The father might be a drug addict who could have abused his mom and sisters and the story might have many such facts hidden that never could be revealed as a son. What could be the comment people would give now when they get to know the truth. Is the son right or wrong? Again we might receive two kinds of opinions for the same situation even after getting to know the truth.
Let's take another instance, a snake gulps down a tiny frog. Which creature is right here? The snake or the frog? A few may opine that the snake is right as it has to maintain the ecological balance in the food chain. Some might say the snake is wrong as it is killing another creature for its own survival and being so cruel.
Our conscience is the most inevitable aspect in this regard. When you are in a situation and you do what your conscience says is right and you are pretty sure that never you shall feel guilty or cut a sorry figure when you look into the mirror, that's the action that could be right. Right ?
