The Book of Woman
The above question is from the book titled, The Book of Woman, authored by Osho, who had opined a realistic depiction of what is the role of women in actuality in the contemporary era. He questioned the existence of womanhood and discussed the queries like, how a man perceives a woman and how he tames a woman for him to be dominant in her life.
The book is very interesting to read from the beginning to the end, though we may find certain sentences repeatedly used by the author in order to stress on the point he wanted us to imbibe. Through the pages of his piece of work, he wants us to perceive the book with an eye of neither a man nor a woman. Only then we can relate with his intentions.
He brings out enticingly the difference between the thought process of a man versus that of a woman. The manner in which he portrays the relationship between man and woman is indefinable. Though we might feel like its a blow towards maleness, we can find certain truth hidden behind each and every pages of his book.
The paralyzed nonentity, as Osho stated in his book about the pitiable plight of a woman, indeed, becomes an eye opener to both men and women. The book throws light about various issues in sexuality, marriage, love, relationships, motherhood and so on.
Based on his discourses, the book has various pages that has discussions about the wholeness, the body and mind and the human existence. All the aspects are touched and traversed with such pragmatic approach that we can identify ourselves with one of the characters he had portrayed.
