Sadhguru and Osho, two personalities who are like two different sides of the same coin called Happiness. If you have read both their books or heard their speeches you would have heard that, you can be happy by leading a disciplined life as you wish with some discipline that is not to control but be happy by what you want to do.
Osho's philosophy is of a different kind like that of Epicurean philosophy that advocates eat, drink and be merry.
Whichever philosophy of life you wish to follow, the gist is do not hurt anyone when in search of your happiness.
For a layman, the following could be the proven factors to be happy:
- Have no expectations from anyone or anything.
- Optimism goes a long way leading to happiness.
- Chasing anything is a big mistake. Avoid chasing.
- Control your body and mind.
- Smile is good but be stern when necessary.
- Be confident. To be confident you have to do right.
- Follow rules as human beings are social beings.
- An attitude that you can face alone everything brings peace of mind.
- As far as possible avoid sharing your future plans to anyone. Just work on it.
- Being empathetic is good but show only to those who deserve your kindness.
- You can cry and shed your tears but remember to walk again after you trip and fall.
- Keep yourself busy with learning new things or spending time to improve a skill.
